1.2 Billion (Not Million) Hours of Black Ops Multiplayer Played
BAGEEZUS PEOPLE! I don’t think any funny metaphor or sarcastic remark can touch this staggering statistic. Yesterday, at Activision’s investors call, the publisher revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops gamers have surpassed the 1.2 billion hour playtime mark since November 2010. All game time hours were amassed by each system the shooter was developed for and…physical social interaction died this day. See what I mean?! Sarcastic remarks don’t work with this news piece because the information is just downright shocking. Yes, the Call of Duty franchise is immensely popular and has racked up numerous commercial assets but still. I wonder if the sun will explode once it realizes that its rays aren’t reaching millions of people.

Pretty much your above average gamer who plays games profusely and appreciates them even more. Been gaming since the NES but is in love with anything PlayStation. No I am not a typical fanboy...I appreciate each system for their strengths and recognize their weaknesses. I just love the PS brand. (Think along the lines as someone who likes to read but loves one author in particular). Ever since my time as #2 in the world at Resistance 2, I have taken video games much more seriously. Don't get me wrong, I am a laid back, fun guy to game with...but I always play to win.
