14 Minutes of New Dragon’s Crown Gameplay Revealed

Dragon’s Crown is scheduled to hit shelves July 25 for Japan, so it is no surprise that our friends at 4Gamer have posted a 14 minute clip of gameplay on their YouTube Channel. While the text is all in Japanese, gamers still get a feel for this beautiful hand drawn 2D sidescroller beat ’em up.

Dragon’s Crown, coming exclusively to PS3 and PlayStation Vita, features six unique characters for gamers to play as. Both editions of the game are identical and feature cross-save, but no cross-play feature. Four player cooperative play is also featured both locally and through the PlayStation Network.

After surviving development hell, transferring between publisher UTV Ignition Entertainment to Atlus, Vanillaware’s Dragon’s Crown is expected to hit the United States August 6. While our friends across the pond will have to wait until later this Fall.
