Publisher Playism has announced the next game to come from the developer of LiEat and Alicemare,  △○□× (Miwashiba). The game is called 1bitHeart, and it’s launching on Playism and Steam this month.

1bitHeart is an adventure game that puts players in control of the lonely, agoraphobic boy, Nanashi, as he decides to join the rest of the world to meet friends. He feels the urge to wander the outside world after meeting a mysterious girl. However, as he goes, the world becomes stranger than he expected. It is a placed ruled by computer programs. While trying to make friends, Nanashi must also solve the odd events that are turning around him.

According to the publisher, 1bitHeart can be played in three different phases: Detective, Conversation, and Free Mode, which can only be played after it is unclocked through the game’s Story mode. The game, which is primarily about a boy meeting many new people, includes over 50 characters for Nanashi to befriend.

1bitHeart will release on Playism and Steam sometime in August for $2.99. Interested in learning a little more about the game? Fortunately for you, Playism provided a brand new trailer. You can view this trailer in the video below.
