Doogie Howser Will Be Spider-Man... Again (Talent Announcement)

Neil Patrick Harris – who is better known for his starring role as the teenage doctor in the 90′s sitcom “Doogie Houser, M.D.” – will reprise his role as Spider-Man in Activision’s upcoming, and impressive looking, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, which is currently being showcased that this year’s San Diego Comic-Con for those of you lucky bastards attending.

If, for whatever reason, you haven’t heard about Activision’s latest Spider-Man game, you’ll be glad to know that the series has taken somewhat of a gritty approach. Players criss cross through four unique worlds from Spider-Man lore and take on the role of four unique Spider-Men – Ultimate, Noir, Amazing and 2099 – all of which will be voiced by the talented Neil Patrick Harris, along with Christopher Daniel Barnes, Dan Gilvezan and Josh Keaton, subsequently.

Here’s an awesome Snapple fact: Each of the aforementioned actors have previously portrayed Spider-Man in a slew of animated television series. “Amazing,” isn’t it? Pun intended.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions will be available on September 7th, and will be released on the PC, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Am I looking forward to this game? Like a mob of starving monkey for a bunch of bananas, absolutely.
