The latest expansion to Allods Online seems to go contrary to what most people expect (and most publishers want) from a free-to-play MMORPG – make things even “more free-to-play”, as their press release puts it. In the latest patch they are adding in daily quests (re: World of Warcraft) that allow you to earn many premium items that are also available in the game’s item shop. This means it can save you money if you were previously buying these items, and, actually, makes the game even more attractive than it already is, as possibly one of the best F2P MMOs out there right now.
If you’re into MMOs and have some time to kill, you might want to check out Allods Online and see what it’s all about.
