Disney Interactive Studios has revealed that the soundtrack to Disney Epic Mickey will be released by Walt Disney Records on December 21st, 2010. The soundtrack features music from Emmy Award winning composer, Jim Dooley, and it will be available through iTunes and other major digital media retailers. It should be 20 tracks of pure Disney bliss.
“Jim Dooley perfectly understood the concept of classic Disney sound and was able to compose a slightly off-center feel to match the unique world of Wasteland in Disney Epic Mickey,” said Warren Spector, general manager and creative director, Disney Interactive Studios’ Junction Point. “The intuition and skill that makes Jim Dooley one of the industry’s top musical talents is represented in Disney Epic Mickey. The range of emotions in his score is simply stunning and one that fans will enjoy both within the game and on its own.”
Sounds like it’s going to be hard to fight back tears listening to this one.
