New Development in the Nintendo 3DS Issues with Children

We informed you earlier this week that Nintendo had addressed some rather serious issues presented by the Nintendo 3DS when used by young children. Now we’ve got new details on a warning that the company has issued, addressing these impending problems.

Nintendo is notorious for the accessibility in its products which are especially popular among children.  A warning issued by the company however may have moms thinking twice about picking up this pricey high end device for their kids. The warning is stated as follows:

“Vision of children under the age of six has been said [to be in the] developmental stage. 3D visual content delivers 3D images with different left and right images, [which] has a potential impact on the growth of children’s eyes.”

One can only imagine the effect that this will have on Nintendo’s famously family friendly appeal. Perhaps these issues can be assuaged before the devices release early next year. On a more literal note, children under the age of six have absolutely no business playing with a $300 device. Not in my opinion anyways. More on this controversial story at the source.
