D3 Publisher released a new trailer for White Knight Chronicles II to little fanfare this week. The second game in the series will conclude the saga which was started in the first title, released by Sony a over a year ago in the U.S. The trailer is brief, but shows you some of the swanky battle visuals that Level 5 is producing with this title.

If you weren’t already aware, the second game comes with a remastered version of the first title, all on one BluRay. In Japan, you were required to play the first game through first (or have valid clear data from the first title) before delving into the second, but that is not the case with either the North American or European releases. You can play through the first game again in its updated glory, or you can go right into the second game. White Knight Chronicles II is due to be released in North America on August 2, 2011, and in Europe next week. Hit the break for the trailer.
