A huge boon for fans of 80′s hair metal and one arm drummers, this week’s entire package of Rock Band 3 downloadable songs consists of six Def Leppard tracks.  Def Leppard is one of the most requested bands on Rockband.com and this track pack will mark the first time their songs are available as DLC for Rock Band.  Regardless of your thoughts on Def Leppard (I, for one, am disappointed to not see Armageddon It on the list), it is pretty cool that they went out of their way to authorize all six of the tracks in the pack for pro-guitar upgrades.

The following tracks will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii on August 9th:

• Def Leppard – “Animal (Live)”
• Def Leppard – “Bringin’ On the Heartbreak”
• Def Leppard – “Photograph”
• Def Leppard – “Pour Some Sugar On Me (Live)”
• Def Leppard – “Rock of Ages”
• Def Leppard – “Undefeated”

As usual, each song will cost $1.99 individually in real currency, or 160 Microsoft Spacebucks.  The tracks marked with an * will be upgradable to Pro-Guitar/Pro-Bass for an additional $0.99 (or 80 Microsoft points).  The pack as a whole will cost $9.99, 1000 Wii points or 800 Microsoft Points.
