On September the 1st, 2009, Champions Online was released. Since then, the game went through some pretty though times, but things improved gradually and the passage to the hybrid business model breathed new life into the community.

Starting tomorrow, September the 1st (from 10 AM PDT), heroes and villains alike will celebrate the game’s second anniversary. Rockstar heroine Sapphire will take the stage and DJ Madbot will spin and scratch to his heart content. 

Until September the 5th player heroes will have a chance to earn special anniversary items and costume unlocks (including special glittering ones) by killing bosses and taking part in special missions issued by the party hosts.
