Watch Three New Hatsune Miku Trailers At Your Own Risk

by on September 25, 2011 8:09 PM 8

Today I introduced the new Korean Vocaloid SeeU, but what about the princess (she’s normally defined “Utahime”, that can be literally translated as Singing Princess) of all Vocaloids: Hatsune Miku?

Sega released three new trailers, two for the upcoming PSP game Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Extend (to be released in Japan on November the 10th), and the other for the 3DS game Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai.

The second Project Diva Extend trailer actually doesn’t fature Hatsune Miku herself, but another Vocaloid included in the game: Megurine Luka.

You can watch all thee trailers past the cut, but do so at your own risk, because as usual the songs are extremely catchy, and you’ll have trouble getting them out of your head:

I’ve always been quite interested in these games, and the gameplay in the first trailer actually looks pretty fun.

unfortunately Sega already said they won’t bring any more PSP games to the west, which is a shame…. Damn I want Valkyria 3…

Woah, woah, wait what? When did they say that? It makes ZERO sense to release the first two here, and not the third.

This is what Rubyeclipse (sega west community manager) said: “As much as I would love to see an English release of Infinity, SEGA West is currently not looking at further PSP development. Games like PSPo2 and Valkyria Chronicles 2 did not sell nearly as well as we had hoped that they would. Also, we all have to take into account the heavy amount of piracy that plagues the West. It may happen at some point, but there are currently no plans for it.”
