Starhawk Private Beta Starting in November, Open Beta Later

by Oct 21st 2011 1:30PM 0

Sony and Lightbox Interactive announced today that the one thing fans of the Warhawk franchise have been waiting for since Starhawk was announced – the beta process. Usually this “closed” or “private” beta is what’s more openly referred to as a “friends and family beta”, where the developer, publisher and their close associates take part in the testing process.

This time, however, SCEA has gone ahead and approved letting fans into the closed beta, which starts in November. While it will be a select bunch at first, it will gradually open up to more and more and, of course, likely lead into a more open beta closer to launching the game. So, if this is something you’ve been waiting for, you might want to head on over to the game’s official site and check out the goings on there. Get excite!
