Final Fantasy XIV Subscription Plans Detailed. Reduced Monthly Fee Disclosed.
Square Enix Just announced that Final Fantasy XIV users will have to start paying a monthly fee starting on January the 6th, 2012.
While the initially planned monthly fee last year was $12.99, subscriptions until the release of version 2.0 next winter will be discounted: the monthly fee will be $9.99 ($6.99 for the basic service and $3.00 for one character) a month.
90 and 180 days billing cycles will also available, going for $8.99 a month and $7.99 a month respectively.
