The iTunes Store got an interesting surprise today as a MAME emulator called iMAME has appeared that is completely free of charge and available on all iOS devices. The application (which isn’t official and not endorsed by the MAME Team) comes pre-loaded with quite a few games including Circus, Crash, Hard Hat, Fire One, Robot Bowl, Side Track, Spectar, Star Fire and Targ. It’s not clear how other games will get added in the future, but for free you can’t really complain right?
