Guinness World Records Recognizes Star Wars: The Old Republic As Largest Entertainment Voice Over Project Ever

A rumor floating around tells that voice actors don’t like to work on games. In most cases that rumor is absolutely false, as games quite often include a much larger number of lines than movies or even series, meaning that the monetary aspect of the job is nothing to scoff at.

This is especially true with Star Wars: The Old Republic, that has been recognized in the newly released¬†Guinness World Records 2012 Gamer’s Edition as the largest entertainment voice over project ever, boasting more than 200,000 lines of voiced dialogue performed by several hundred voice actors.¬†

This is just one of the records broken by the new game by Bioware, that is also the fastest MMORPG to reach a million subscribers. Hopefully the positive trend will continue. So far so good.
