This Week in Rock Band DLC: Hall & Oates

by on January 7, 2012 3:00 PM 0

Last week, Rock Band rang in the new year of 2012 with Rush’s fantastic 2112 saga.  This week, Harmonix follows that up with some more quality jams, in the form of a bit of Hall and Oates.  Rock Band gets three of their unique brand of old school soul-influenced-pop-rock for you and your friends to play to.  Even, better, if you own the Rock Band keyboard peripheral, all three songs this week are keyboard ready!  Hit the jump for the list of Hall & Oates coming to the game this week

This week, on January 10th, the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii are getting

  • Hall & Oates – “Privates Eyes”*
  • Hall & Oates – “I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do)”
  • Hall & Oates – “Maneater”

The tracks will be available as the “Hall & Oates Pack 01.”  The complete pack will run you $5.49 cents, or 440 Microsoft Spacebucks. Individually, the songs are $1.99, or 80 Microsoft points. All three tracks feature support for keyboards. As always, the tracks marked with * will offer Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

Rock Band and Harmonix have once again shown some excellent diversity week to week with their offerings.  That said, I will still be playing the 2112 saga again and again, as Harmonix smartly allowed for that one to be played all in one delicious, 20 minute block.  But if you quite don’t feel like prog, and prefer a bit of lighter rock, then Harmonix certainly has you covered this week.  Glad to see that they have no plans to stop offering DLC in 2012!
