This week, Bethesda revealed some interesting tidbits about their newest patch for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The biggest piece of news is that they revealed that the Creation Kit and Steam Workshop tools, which will allow for even more modding, has gone into final testing.  Bethesda expects the kit to be released for PC users by the end of the month.

As for the 1.4 update, it includes some particular platform updates in addition to the general list of fixes.

Specifically, PS3 owners will be thrilled to see that there is a fix for the “long term play optimizations for memory and performance” issues that have been plaguing the game on that platform since its launch. In addition, every system is getting “general optimizations for memory and performance,” though it is nice to see that the long term issues on the PS3 are being resolved in specificity. There are a large number of other bug and quest fixes detailed on the blog, which you can check out here.
