Speaking about the next generation, Philippe Cardone of PlayStation France told the French magazine Le Pointe ”we were the last to release PS3, and we will probably be the last to announce something.”
He attributes the focus on the Wii U to the fact that the Wii itself is in decline, and says that PlayStation has much less pressure on them.
He also clarified that in the next few months, we can expect a new Monster Hunter game for the Vita, which is rather exciting. Essentially, despite the many rumors flying around that we will hear about the PlayStation 4 at E3 this year, Cardone is telling us not to hold our breaths.
