It’s been about four years since Bethesda acquired the Fallout license and released the series’ third numbered installment to critical and commercial success. Two years before that the Western RPG powerhouse released the fourth entry in its The Elder Scrolls franchise. Now both games are being bundled for $29.99 on the Xbox 360 and $19.99 on the PC, providing a pretty steep discount for the approximate 1 percent of current-gen gamers who haven’t yet played either game (That number is based purely on a pie chart I made up for this article.)
Bethesda is having trouble getting the clearance to offer the double pack on the PS3, vice president of marketing Pete Hines told Joystiq. The publisher hopes to change that in the near future. For now, Xbox and PC gamers get another shot at the plethora of adventures to be had in the Capitol Wasteland and Tamriel.
