Tecmo Koei Implementing Online Passes for Ninja Gaiden 3

by Mar 7th 2012 7:00PM 1 Comment

Anyone who plays new console games online has surely heard of the notorious online pass by now. These single use codes are included with new copies of various multiplayer titles and players without a code – most notably those who bought the game pre-owned instead of new – will have to purchase one before they can enjoy the game’s online features. Publisher Tecmo Koei has revealed that their upcoming intense action game Ninja Gaiden 3 will make use of online passes.

The news comes via Gamefly.com, where potential Ninja Gaiden 3 renters are warned that an online  pass will be required before you can enjoy the multiplayer. The publisher itself later confirmed that this would be the case. Said multiplayer consists of awesomely bloody and fast paced ninja battles that anyone who purchased/rented the game would certainly want to check out. Ninja Gaiden 3 will be available on HD consoles on March 20th, and if you don’t but it new, then you’ll be buying an online pass before you hit the network. More power to you Tecmo.
