We already went over those T-1000-esque George Washingtons in the last BioShock Infinite heavy hitters video, but this next guy’s in a league of his own. BioShock series creative director Ken Levine says the Handyman is a “tragic figure” of sorts. He won’t go into detail regarding why these men are imprisoned in these mechanical constructs, but it’s apparently a very sad story. And it seems there’s quite a few of them in Columbia.
The development team goes over some of the design concepts for the Heavy Hitter, my personal favorite being one that facially resembles Daniel Day-Lewis in There Will Be Blood. Anywho, check out the video past the jump. It’s a pretty interesting look at the process behind the creation of the character.
