Today, Telltale Games published the debut trailer for The Walking Dead introduced by the comic book creator, Robert Kirkman. One of the first things you might notice is that everything is covered in blood. Moving through some comic-inspired stills, the video teases you with the many ways to kill zombies. This is probably a good thing since the zombies are definitely trying to kill you.

The in-game footage pretty much says it all, with one of the first audio lines being, “Oh S*&%!” Closing out with gunshots and the mumbles of the slow moving undead horde embodies everything we’ve come to love about the series. Still, I wonder why most hopeless situations involving reanimated life involves being cornered in a drug store? Is it just irony?
