Robert Bowling, the man responsible for your Call of Duty news tweets and updates, has just resigned from his post as creative strategist for the Call of Duty series and has stepped down from Infinity Ward and Activision. And what more fitting way to make the announcement than through his Twitter feed?
“Today, I resign from my position as Creative Strategist of Call of Duty, as a lead of Infinity Ward, and as an employee of Activision,” he wrote earlier.
Bowling’s primary duties were in disseminating information regarding the series through social networks, primarily those utilizing 140-character limits. No word on why he left the company, but we’ll keep you updated if we learn anything.
