You might know of Starbreeze from the recent Syndicate or their previous successes in The Darkness and The Chronicles of Riddick games. The team is looking to take their proven model of success in a new direction by making their next game Cold Mercury free-to-play! Starbreeze CEO Mikael Nermark has assured that they will not be leaving the AAA market, but are simply exploring new options.
I can safely say that with their existing track record I’m still willing to trust Starbreeze in whatever avenue they choose to pursue and eagerly look forward to any project they work on.
