Today will mark the opening of the new MLB season, and Sony Computer Entertainment decided to celebrate the event with a new trailer of MLB 12: The Show released for PS3 and PS Vita almost a month ago.

The trailer shows exactly what you would expect from a Baseball game: pitches, runs, dives, dust, sweat and home runs. You can go ahead and check it out after the cut and see if it gets you in the mood for some bat-and-ball clashes. 

Personally I am. Believe me or not, despite being Italian (and Italians don’t really care much about Baseball), I always loved the sport since the anime series Touch gave me the first glimpse on it back when I was a kid.
