Star Wars: The Old Republic Dev Diary Showcases the New Customizable Interface

Star Wars: The Old Republic players have been asking for the ability to customize the game’s interface since the beta, and BioWare will provide the much coveted feature shortly with version 1.2.

Today the developer released a new developer diary video, letting Lead Interface Artist Michael Voigt explain and show off the ins and outs of the new system.

Having already tried the feature on the test server, I can say that the customization options are fantastic, and a lot of love went into letting us pretty much anything short of a complete graphical redesign, even if the most pleasant feature is more or less an indirect consequence: the ability to open and stack as many menu windows as we want instead of the two side by side we can currently open in the game.
