An update to the PlayStation blog today added a new trailer for upcoming fighting game SkullGirls. The trailer introduces Double, an unsightly atrocity who shape-shifts into other characters. While it sounds like a pretty cheesy fighting style initially, it actually seems very unique and effective, as you can see in the trailer. In other news, a surprisingly fully featured demo will be released for PSN.

The demo will include the characters Filia and Cerebella, a practice mode, a shortened arcade mode, four tutorials and local versus play limited to 2-on-2 matches. There’s no release date for the demo but the game itself will be out on April 10th for PS3 and April 11th for Xbox 360. I for one am more hyped about this game than I have time to describe.
