Classic arcade-style games are always good time wasters when you’re sitting on the train or at the bus stop with nothing but your phone to keep you company. The new iOS title, Mars Lander, has old-school gaming roots mixed with space-themed flight.

Command a spaceship while collecting stars and avoiding crushing or electrifying traps. From the looks of things, it seems harder to do than parallel parking.  There are 100 premade levels and also a map editor to create your own areas. Watch the trailer after the break.
