The 1.2 Legacy patch launched today for Star Wars: The Old Republic. As a special thanks for sticking around, BioWare will be gifting 30 days of free play time to everyone that has an active account and at least a level 50 character.

All active subscribers will also get a mini Tauntaun Ram Pet to be their new best friend forever (Editor’s Note: Soon every Jedi and Sith in the galaxy will stroll around with his own space chihuaua. How lovely…).

To get the freebie fuzzy thing, you must have purchased the game, signed up for a recurring subscription, and not be banned. Even though small, I’m sure they still probably smell bad. Don’t be fooled by the cute big eyes and tiny body.

Former players who decide to come back between April 13 –April 19 will be eligible to get seven free days of game play as well. You can read the eligibility requirements and details here.
