Just as they did on Sony’s previous portable, Skype is now headed to the PlayStation Vita. Beginning today, users will be able to download the video calling service and enjoy all of the offerings the service is known for and do so through a rather slick UI.
Thanks to the Vita’s back camera you’ll now be able to switch between the two while on a call, a feature that has actually proved quite handy on cell phones for the past year or so. To fill us in on the rest of the details of the new application, Skype recorded a tutorial video with pro e-sports gamer Jonathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel because nothing screams handheld like a professional PC player.
