Max Payne and Other Classics Set to Drop on PSN

With Max Payne 3 only weeks away, it comes as little surprise that the first Max Payne will hit Playstation Network with the next update. Released for the Playstation 2 in 2001, Max Payne is one of the most dynamic games in its library, and has enjoyed critical and commercial success. This was due in part mostly to the game’s story that was heavy on noir elements, and the bullet-time gameplay. Throughout all the shooting and mayhem in the game, somehow Max never stopped smirking, and remained impeccably dressed.

The Legend of Dragoon was released for the Japanese PSN nearly two years ago, but it will finally be released for its North American counterpart with this update. Released for the original Playstation between 1999 and 2001, Dragoon was met with lukewarm critical success but has since gained a tremendous fan following.

Other games in this PSN update include: Rayman 2: Revolution, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops (w/ First Strike DLC), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (w/ Stimulus Package DLC), and Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims.
