Following the recent confirmation of God of War: Ascension‘s existence, Sony has dropped another bombshell. Multiplayer mode. Director of the Game, Todd Papy, wrote on the Playstation blog today stating that, “God of War: Ascension will feature a ground-breaking new online mode. We wouldn’t do multiplayer in God of War unless we knew we could do it right.” Papy also promised to be speaking with Jeff Rubenstein about his past with the franchise, the aforementioned multiplayer mode, and other details pertaining to the game.

All of this will be broadcast live via a Ustream broadcast today at 8am PDT/11am EST.
