For awhile there it seems like The Behemoth’s Alien Hominid was everywhere following its initial flash release so long ago. The little yellow guy was making appearances in other games all over the place with the game itself seeming to get ported to every platform that would take him.

The Behemoth have since grown from being “the Alien Hominid guys” to being one of the most respected names in gaming but they haven’t forgotten their humble roots. They announced recently that the original Alien Hominid flash game has passed 20 Million plays on Newgrounds!

Hopefully the team has more incredible work in store for the future but it’s nice to take a moment to remember the small and humble origins of the gentle giant.
