Dragon Ball Z: Budakai Tenkaichi HD Collection Spotted at Spanish Retailer

The popular Dragon Ball Z: Budakai Tenkaichi series may be next in line for an HD remaster. Spanish retailer XtraLife.es has added a listing for Dragon Ball Z: Budakai Tenkaichi HD Collection. The listing includes a December 10th, 2012 release date and even has the game priced at €36.95 (around $47), which seems pretty close to the HD collection standard price of $40. If such a collection does exist, it will most likely include HD versions of DBZ: Budakai Tenkaichi, Tenkaichi 2 and Tenkaichi 3.

This particular series has never been my own personal cup of tea, but perhaps it’ll be more appealing in HD.

  • Eh, I never cared for this series. I very much preferred the original Budokai and the PSP games.

I honestly enjoyed some of the 2nd one, although I’d also much rather get the original Budokai remastered. I’m surprised their remastering this, since the games have largely been the same year after year, whether it’s the 2D versions or the 3D (just more characters thrown in).

  • No DBZ HD collections for PS Vita? F**K you Sony!!

    • Chaos Mechanica

You realize that Sony can’t just up and make the collection themselves, right? That’s more of something that the publisher behind the game has to decide, and devote time, money, and resources to. Sony doesn’t own that franchise.
