1.6 Update in Skyrim will Feature Mounted Combat

by May 24th 2012 4:44PM 0

We know you’re all still out there playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. There isn’t any shame in admitting that.  The latest notes for the upcoming 1.6 update features a list of bug fixes, but the most exciting thing on the list the addition of mounted combat.x

Skyrim will allow you to do both melee and ranged combat all from the comfort of your horse saddle. Of course, I’m sure adding shout will be a bad idea since you don’t want to send your horse flying with you still on it. Along with the update comes a few stability fixes and memory optimizations, as well as tweaks to fix the chance of save corruption and issues involving the Kinect.

The beta update is available through Steam if you want to get your hands on it early, but be sure to back up your saved games. You can find the complete patch notes here.
