Diablo III has been out for a decent amount of time now and as with any game of this nature is of course not quite the full vision of what it was intended to be. As such some changes are on the way for the game that are being made for a variety of reasons which Blizzard has explained in full detail in a recent blog post.
In particular they mention that most of the changes were made due to unforeseen combinations that were either simply a little too powerful or allowed certain classes to have an easier time at the hardest difficulties than intended. While most of the information here is your basic nerfs taking effect, it’s still very interesting to read and see what is planned for the future.
While I’m sure that information is very important to a lot of you out there perhaps even more interesting are some of the stats they’ve revealed about the game. Perhaps most intriguing is the fact that 80% of the characters made are between level 1 and 30 though it also states that the average player creates three characters. Considering I created two characters that are still at level three (trying to decide what class to play first) this makes sense though.
