Metal Gear’s 25th Anniversary Will “Shake the Industry”

According to Kojima Productions, Metal Gear’s 25th anniversary is going to be a real shocker for the gaming community. Ken Mendoza, a Kojima Productions employee, was recently quoted in a podcast to have said that there will be “a lot of exciting announcements” surrounding the franchise’s 25th anniversary. For such a big number, it’s definitely appropriate – but what will these mystery announcements entail?

Little to no detail has been revealed on the specifics thusfar, aside from the fact that the Fox Engine will be featured at the Japan event for the anniversary. Chris Johns also stated in the podcast that “the industry’s gonna be shook by what we’re going to be able to present here,” and also that there are “a lot of things to look forward to next week – not just for fans, but I think the industry’s gonna be shook by what we’re going to be able to present here.”

If Kojima Productions’ intention was to tease, they’ve got fans salivating. Only time will tell what juicy prizes await surrounding Metal Gear’s birthday celebration.

I do not have hope that it will be a new MGS game that is a remake of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake haha.

    Maybe a 25th Anniversary set?
