Yesterday night the final save of the Final Fantasy XIV database froze everyone’s characters in time to prepare them for the transition to A Realm Reborn, and today director and producer Naoki Yoshida posted another of his letters to the fans.
Alongside his thanks to the players for the support until now, Yoshida also explained that there have been no major problems with the alpha, and that probably means it won’t be too long until western players are allowed in as well.
New waves of invites are supposed to be sent as the alpha goes along, and will be announced over twitter.
As a treat, Yoshida also posted two pictures set in Gridania from the Alpha. For some reason he loves to depict crowds. You can see them both above and below.
