Doesn’t look as good simply down to resolution and the lower resolution assets used to accommodate the platform itself. It certainly looks very good for a 3DS game and almost on par with a gamecube-’ish game.

Wii U version (Which I am very excited to get) just looks like MHTri+MHTriG’s content and changes+MHTri’s assets as a base(hence why a lot of the texture just look the same as Tri ran through dolphin)+dynamic shadows+some new shaders/improved bloom.

Don’t get me wrong, I am very much anticipating this game. I am just a bit puzzled that with the Wii U’s 1GB of ram entirely for games they couldn’t redraw more of the textures..at least on characters.

There are rumors going around that MH3U will run at 1080p60 as well. Which would definitely be pretty nice for a game like this.!
