The latest trailer for Ubisoft’s insane sandbox shooter shows off the myriad of weapons and tactics available to the player during their time on the game’s tropical islands.

There are a huge assortment of weapons to choose from in Far Cry 3 including pistols, assault rifles, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, knives and bows; all of which are fully customizable.

The game also allows players to develop special abilities along three separate skill trees called ‘The Heron’ (long-ranged attacks, fast-paced action), ‘The Shark’ (based on pure strength, will boost your speed, energy and power) and ‘The Spider’ (enhances guerrilla tactics and ambushes).

Far Cry 3, developed by Ubisoft, will be available on December 4th, 2012, in the US and November 29th, 2012, in all other territories. It will be playable on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
