Fans looking forward to MLB 13 The Show will be excited to hear they will have a chance to help select a cover athletes for the game through the Cover Campaign in early January. Top names in baseball will be announced for candidacy in the campaign.

Also announced is an improved postseason mode with the All-New Playoff Mode that will try to replicate the intensity of the playoffs in each stadium. The game features a new beginner mode to help players new to the game get up to speed faster.

These improvements will also make way to the PS Vita version that will allow seasons, franchise, and Road to the Show saves be transferred between the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game.
