If today’s episode of my The Story So Far column wasn’t enough Final Fantasy XIV for you, Square Enix has you covered with a brand new gameplay trailer straight from the Alpha of A Realm Reborn. 

The new trailer, showcasing as usual the area around Gridania, shows a couple of very basic quests and combat from the point of view of a Conjurer and a Lancer. It’s quite noticeable how much better many animations look compared to those in the previous incarnation of the game, especially for spell casting.
