Bahamut will play a very important role in the story of the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and it will also serve as a prominent boss and provider of assorted phat loot for us all to seek.

Square Enix published a set of concept art pieces showing the Dragon King himself, and quite a few pieces of the gear he’ll drop when slaughtered. That’s a rather mean looking axe, right there, and I believe that helmet would fit my character rather perfectly. Who wouldn’t have a helm that comes with its own attached earring? Looks like I’ll have to put the “little” lizard down.
