2013 Gamescom: Kinect Sports Rivals Steals Your Face and Puts it on an Athletic Person in This Video

See the Xbox One’s face snatching tech first hand. Over at Gamescom, people have gotten a chance to play Kinect Sports Rivals and get their faces captured and inserted in the game.

In this official Microsoft video, we get to see the process in action. Basically you stand there and the Kinect molds this freaky looking clay faced thing to look more like yours. I don’t really know the tech behind this, so I’ll assume its magic.

The tech looks impressive, but I want to see how it performs in my bedroom with poor lighting. If it doesn’t capture my sunny disposition I’ll be quite upset.
