One of my favorite Anime series of the latest season was definitely Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, with its lovely Arabian Nights setting and its hilarious take on classic characters like Aladdin, Alibaba and Sindbad.

Namco Bandai is going to release (in Japan) a 3DS game based on the series on February the  21st, and today they published a commercial that gives us a brief glimpse on the game. In the clip we can see both dialogue scenes (that will involve a lot of the characters from the Anime) and gameplay, that unfortunately reminds me a lot the One Piece games for the 3DS, that weren’t exactly exceptional.

We’ll have to wait and see if this Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic will be better, but in the meanwhile you can check out the commercial below.
