Hakuouki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi Gets a Sharp Trailer

Next month, Aksys will be releasing Hakuouki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi in North America. Maybe a slightly less tongue-twisting title would have been more appropriate, then. Hakuouki is an action game with visual novel elements. I’ve never seen anything quite like that, have you? Hakuouki will be released for the PlayStation Vita – excuse me, I meant to say…the PlayStation Portable? Aksys sure made some strange choices with this title, didn’t they? All retail copies of the game will accompany a 16 page character guide. So there’s that.

Check out the fancy trailer for the game below. Hakuouki will be released on February 19th.

      The version of the game that is currently available is reportedly not compatible with the PlayStation Vita. However, an Aksys representative has confirmed that a Vita compatible version will be released in North America, though the release date is not clear.
