Some may have thought that the Ford Falcon V8 Supercar in iRacing sounded a little tame, but that’s a thing of the past, as the ride is getting an update with all new engine sounds.

It may seem a minor thing, but many just don’t understand how important engine sounds are in a racing simulator. Not only they are a crucial factor for immersion, but they’re also one of the primary shifting aids if you don’t want to continuously lower your gaze to the dashboard and check the tachometer (which may very well be fatal in many situations).
