Wizardry Online opened its “gates to hell” today, after a couple delays, promising hardcore features like unforgiving PvP, permadeath and corpse looting. If you think that MMORPGs nowadays are too easy and forgiving, you may want to check it out, since it’s free to play.

For those that are still on the fence, Sony Online Entertainment published a launch trailer and a gameplay video featuring the Caligrase Sewers dungeon. The two videos feature a lot of the same footage between themselves, but they’re still a good glimpse on how combat plays out in the game.
