Unlike the anime fighting game it is based on, Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds still seems to be on the track towards a North American release. The Xbox Live Arcade exclusive features a cartoon-like art style and some very hectic multiplayer brawling. This newest trailer released for the game goes over some of the features it will include, such as a story mode and an arcade mode. The fighting game Phantom Breaker itself was Xbox 360 exclusive (an Xbox exclusive in Japan, crazy, I know), which probably explains why this title is currently only hitting the 360.

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds is set to launch on February 27th for 800 MSP.
