Bungie finally revealed their new IP, Destiny, with a definitely interesting video documentary that was supposed to give us a good idea on what the game will be about. Unfortunately the video is very heavy on the atmosphere, but a tad light on details.

According to the press release that accompanied the announcement,we can pretty much guess that the game will be akin to a MMOFPS (even if it’s never really specified)  and we know that it will be published on PS3, Xbox 360 and on next generation platforms. No launch timeframe has been indicated as of yet.

Not much else is known, besides the fact that the art side of the project is absolutely stunning, as we have come to expect from Bungie’s designers, and that players will play the role of the defenders of the last safe city on Earth.
